Why does our gourmet coffee
taste so much better than regular store bought coffee? Simple!
We Use Only 100% Arabica Beans
At The Gourmet
Coffee Club we use only hand-picked, 100% Arabica beans grown
at elevations between 3,000 & 6,000 feet above sea level, where
the hot, moist climate produces the most flavorful bean on earth.
Hand-picked, much like grapes for fine wines, just as they become fully
ripened, Arabica beans are then dried, sorted and graded according to
color, size, and uniformity.
Most name-brand
commercial coffees are made from blends of robusta beans which are grown
at lower elevations. To save labor at harvest time they are usually allowed
to ripen until they fall from the plant, often beginning to spoil as they
lie on the ground waiting to be gathered. The coffee you buy at your local
grocery store is made largely from robusta beans.
Because of the meticulous
"hands-on" technique used to grow and harvest Arabica beans,
they have always cost outrageously more for you the coffee drinker --
until now. By becoming a member of The Gourmet Coffee Club
today, you're able to purchase the world's best coffee direct
from the roaster - for only pennies per cup!
Unique
Roasting Process
A unique feature
of The Gourmet Coffee Club is in the way we roast our
coffee. Unlike other name brand coffees you buy at your local grocery
store, we don't MASS produce our coffee. We could purchase beans that
are one or even two years old and significantly reduce our price. But,
this sacrifices quality. Instead, we only purchase coffee from the current
growing season. Our coffee beans are then roasted in small batches using
a high quality specialty roaster - the best in the business - to ensure
that each and every bean is completely and uniformly roasted. The net
result to you is the richest and smoothest cup of coffee you've ever
tasted!
Unique
Packaging
In addition to best
and freshest beans... and besides using the most careful our small-lot
roasting process... we also use a unique process in packaging our ground
gourmet coffee. Each packet of our gourmet coffee is sealed within minutes
of roasting by a special packaging system that employs state-of-the-art
nitrogen flushing technology. By flushing the individual foil
mylar packets with nitrogen the oxygen is removed before the ground
bean is packaged. This technique gives the coffee a "freshness"
period that can last up to one full year!
Freshest
Coffee Possible
Ideally, for the
maximum flavor, you should roast, grind and brew your coffee in the
same day. This is, of course, impractical unless you own your own roasting
operation! From the time our beans are picked, roasted, ground and put
on our shelf not more than 60 days has passed! That means by the time
our gourmet coffee hits your front door you know it was packed not more
than 7 days ago! As a member of The Gourmet Coffee Club
you know you'll be drinking the freshest cup of coffee possible -
without having to pick and roast it yourself!
